Meet our Directors

Hope Wofford

Arkadelphia Therapy Director

My name is Hope Wofford. I’m the Therapy Director at Pediatrics Plus in Arkadelphia. I am originally from Nashville, Arkansas. I got my undergraduate degree at Ouachita Baptist University and earned my master’s degree at Oklahoma State University in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I have worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Nashville, TN, Reno, NV, and Northwest Arkansas. I have been married to my husband, John, for 5 years. We have a 2-year-old daughter named Mattie and a goofy labradoodle named Hank. All three of us enjoy spending time outdoors.

I had heard about Pediatrics Plus through friends for a long time but never lived in an area that had a Peds Plus location. When we relocated to central Arkansas in 2021, I knew I wanted to pursue an opportunity with this company.

I love the authenticity of Pediatrics Plus. What you see is what you get. Everyone is doing what they do to benefit our children and empower them to conquer their worlds. We all work together to make that happen. I’m extremely thankful to work for a company with common motives.

I love to travel and have visited 42 out of the 50 states. I also attended 1st and 2nd grades in Australia.

Jed Johnson

Arkadelphia Preschool Director

My name is Jed Johnson, and I’m the Preschool Director in Arkadelphia. I earned my bachelor’s degree in English at the University of Arkansas, and I later received a master’s degree in educational leadership from Arkansas State. I have two incredible girls, Gracie and Ava, and we love spending time outdoors and doing all things volleyball, basketball, and softball related!

I first came to Pediatrics Plus five years ago after being an elementary principal. We kept seeing children start school ready from an academic standpoint, but they weren’t prepared socially or emotionally. Pediatrics Plus gave me the opportunity to help kids build a solid foundation before entering elementary, and I love impacting kids’ lives and seeing them make progress from such an early age.

Two things that I love about working at Pediatrics Plus are the kids and the culture! Our staff is like an extended family, and it makes coming to work every day super enjoyable. And, because we’re so close, the kids pick up on the energy and seem to do even better in therapy and the classroom. Seeing them grow daily is definitely right up there with having a great work environment.

Also, a random fact about myself is that I taught classes in prison for a while and got to meet a lot of interesting people!
